My name is Nora and I am a lover of all creative things.
I’m a little bit from everywhere. I was born in Birmingham and at the age of 6 years old, I moved to Saudi Arabia, where I lived for 11 years. After finishing my high school in the little country of Bahrain, I moved back to the UK to live in sunny Brighton. I’m originally from Cairo in Egypt, where I have never lived but visited every summer.
To sum it up, I’m a British-Egyptian, Third Cultured Saudi-Bahrani Kid.
I do a bit of everything too. I am a video producer (in the making) and I am a writer during the day, working with international students who remind me so much of my younger self. At night, I spend my time training as an aerialist in circus arts. I love telling stories, playing piano and reading.
I am taking part in this project because I am interested to see how I will visualise my own interpretations of words through the medium of photography.
I am also hoping that it will help me become more confident with the camera!
